Regional Sales Manager (Atlanta based)

Primary Function(s): To select and develop an effective, loyal and committed distribution/sales network designed to provide maximum penetration for all assigned products in each appropriate market throughout the designated territory. Additional responsibilities would be:

  • Develop and assist with implementing programs on the distributor level
  • Prepare and monitor sales quotas and other measuring mechanisms
  • Actively and directly pursue sales from high volume potential OEMs
  • Submit short and long term forecasts
  • Participate in the formation of short and long term objectives
  • Conduct regional and national distributor sales and training meetings

Qualifications: Must possess the equivalent of an undergraduate college degree with a business major and training in public speaking/communication. Three to five years of directly related experience selling industrial products through distributors. The ideal candidate will be located in the territory, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and contact management, have the ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Technical background and/or experience in the Material Handling Industry are a plus.
